Please Note: be sure to nominate to the team HERVEY BAY HUMPBACKS and the division (The age the player will be turning in 2027) in which you wish to trial.

Trial times will be sent to all nominees after the closing date. We are unable to advise trial times earlier as final numbers are required to finalise this information.

Nominees must have played at Hervey Bay Oztag in 2026 to nominate. Ineligible nominations will be removed and will be unable to trial.

Registration and uniform payments are due by Monday 19th October 2026 (no exceptions)
Extensions cannot given. Paid Shadows will be pulled into the squads of 16 if named players fail to register on time.

All players MUST purchase a full uniform as it is a new uniform design for 2027 State Cup. It is a requirement for all players have a full uniform (shirt + shorts or tights).

Trial Day Info

Players unavailable for trials but want to play should also nominate.
Nominated Players unavailable to trial are to send reasons by email.
Once date of Nomination has passed trials will be organised.
Times and location will be posted on this website
Please be aware of tournament dates, don’t nominate if you are unavailable on tournament dates.
Players will need to wear a shirt with a number on the back – PLEASE NOTE: NO Hervey Bay Humpbacks representative shirt is to be worn for trials.
Selectors will be present at trials.
Teams will be posted the days following the trial on this website and our social media (Facebook and Instagram)

Players Pool

Players unavailable for trials or players that miss out on selection can be placed in the Players Pool.
If our teams have full sides you can be picked up by another team from another region.
All local competition fees must be up to date to be placed in pool.
You do not choose who you will play for you will be placed in a team by Qld Oztag.
